How is the accessibility score calculated?
It is based on an AI-powered quick and automatic accessibility scan algorithm that compares the website's accessibility against a comprehensive WCAG rule base. The fewer accessibility violations found in the site code, the higher the resulting score.
The number and severity of the test rules passed or failed.
A failed rule have a minimal impact on the resulting score if the number of failed elements for a specific rule is minimal compared to the number of passed elements for the same rule (e.g., the impact will be minimal if 1 out of 50 images is missing alternative text).
