How is the accessibility score calculated?

It is based on an AI-powered quick and automatic accessibility scan algorithm that compares the website's accessibility against a comprehensive WCAG rule base. The fewer accessibility violations found in the site code, the higher the resulting score.
  1. The number and severity of the test rules passed or failed.

  2. A failed rule have a minimal impact on the resulting score if the number of failed elements for a specific rule is minimal compared to the number of passed elements for the same rule (e.g., the impact will be minimal if 1 out of 50 images is missing alternative text).
